Did you know you can easily optimize your website with gzip compression?
It's quick and easy in your hosting cPanel. This will enhance the performance of your website, providing quicker load times for your site visitors.
To do this: Open your cPanel and scroll down to the Software section. Click on Optimize Website, and select Compress All Content, then click on Update Settings. It is instantaneous, and there is nothing more for you to do.
cPanel -->> Software section -->> Optimize Website -->> Compress All Content -->> Update Settings -->> Done
So what happens when you optimize your website?
Use the Optimize Website interface to tweak the way Apache serves responses and enhance the performance of your website.
This interface allows you to configure your server to automatically compress specified types of content when visitors access that content.
cPanel saves your settings to a
.htaccess file in your home directory. This is a hidden file. To view this file, open cPanel, and under the Files section, selection File Manager, which will open in a new tab. In your File Manager tab, click on Settings in the upper right corner, and check the box Show Hidden Files (dotfiles), and then click save.
To view hidden files: cPanel -->>Files section -->> File Manager -->>Settings -->>Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) -->> Save
Once you have viewed the file, I recommend you then go back into Settings and uncheck the Show Hidden Files option.
